| About ACI
Recognising the challenges that audit committees face in meeting their demanding responsibilities, KPMG LLP in the US established the Audit Committee Institute (ACI) in 1999 to provide a resource for audit committee members and directors in general.
Wholly sponsored by KPMG Thailand, the ACI provides a range of forums, publications and events to facilitate the exchange and sharing of audit committee best practices and processes. In Thailand this encompasses a regular newsletter for Directors "Across the board", an Audit Committee Toolkit (currently under revision) and occasional forums to discuss topical issues and share experiences and insights.
The ACI in Thailand, launched in 2007, joins a growing number of Institutes throughout the world including the United States, United Kingdom, Malaysia, Australia and Hong Kong. A wide range of resources are also available via their respective ACI Web sites. Refer to the related sites section of this page to access KPMG’s international ACI resources.
