Induction Program/Starter

Professional Training/Main Courses
Audit Training
Using KPMG’s Audit Methodology (KAM), each year you will have an opportunity to attend one of our audit core courses so you may gain an in-depth understanding and all necessary skills to enable you to confidently encounter with any challenges.
- Audit Course 1, 2, 3, 4
The main objectives of all courses are to enable audit professionals at each particular level to understand the key principles of KPMG audit policies as laid out in KPMG’s Audit Manual, to apply KAM in performing an effective audit, and to get an overview of the Global Work Papers (GWP).
As part of your ongoing professional development, each course is designed to match the technical knowledge needs of your career steps.
Even as you are a new graduate, you will have opportunity for overseas training. We successfully completed “New Audit Assistants Training” for 200 new Thai and Indochina audit assistants in Siem Reap, Cambodia, one of our sub region countries during July and August of 2004. We provide not only technical training to new hires, but also a variety of activities to help build strong relationships and networks among the Indochina sub region staff.
- KAM Updates & KAM Fraud
The KAM Updates courses help enable our audit professionals to obtain knowledge and skills they need to perform the procedures required by the revised auditing standard on fraud and document them in revised Global Work Papers.
- Accounting Standard
The courses will provide all audit professionals the opportunity to refresh their knowledge of both new International and Thai Accounting Standards.
Tax Training
Our tax practice offers training courses focusing on the changes, the interesting cases and the current development in tax and legal matters. Moreover, we will aim not to develop only tax and legal advisors but all round business advisors based on our clients’ business requirements; for example, Customs and Trade, Foreign Investment in Thailand, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Banking Taxation, etc.
Advisory Training
Training begins at the moment you join and continues through each phase of your career. It is very important for our advisory professionals to build their technical skills applicable to all areas of advisory approaches and exhibit superior professional judgments by addressing our clients’ most urgent challenges, as appropriate in today’s environment.
Personal and Managerial Skills Training
We will help you develop specialized technical and business skills as well as personal and managerial skills. The core courses we provide include client interviewing skills, client relationship development skills, negotiation skills and presentation skills, etc.
